Looking back several of these things have happened a little different than I thought, some even better than I anticipated. It certainly has been a fun ride finding out. Convention Thanks appeared in the August, 1995 issue of the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society Observer. After acting as host for the 1995 Mid-States Region of the Astronomical League annual convention I felt compelled to give thanks to all those who had helped with the convention.

For Michal We lost Michal Berrington last spring. It was a great loss to me as I have known Michal for about ten years. When I heard of her passing I felt compelled to write the following article in remembrance of her. It turned out that I read it for her Memorial and it eventually ran in the April, 1999 Central Arkansas Astronomical Society Observer.
Reflections on Stargazing In December 1999 my kids and I went camping at Blanchard Springs Campground near Mountain View, Arkansas. This article is some of our experiences during that wonderful trip!
