Newtonian RayTrace and Collimation
See instructions below.
Starlight: (yellow) shows the light of a star passing through the OTA to the eyepiece. The star can be moved to simulate a star at the edge of the field or the center for checking secondary size.
Eyepiece: simulates basic telescope alignment and shows the eyepiece axis (green) and the primary axis (blue).
Laser: shows how a laser can be used to collimate. Good collimation requires the laser to fold back upon itself.
Cheshire: show how a cheshire works. Both the ray-trace and the Cheshire view are shown.
